Obituary for Lowell J. Bradfish

Lowell J. Bradfish, age 89, of Port Charlotte, FL, and Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at the Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Florida. Lowell was born in Eagle River, WI, on February 5, 1931, to the late Walter and Celia (Nelson) Bradfish. He was one of three children including LaVaun and Roland. The family moved to Tomahawk in 1936 where they lived on a farm for two years, then moved to the Jersey City neighborhood of Tomahawk. Lowell graduated from Tomahawk High School in 1948 where he played the saxophone in the high school band. He then attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering where he studied electricity and refrigeration. He married his high school sweetheart, Fern Lokken, on July 14, 1951; she passed away in 2016.

Walter and Lowell owned their own electrical and plumbing business for many years. Lowell and Fern also developed, owned, and operated Bradfish Hardware of Tomahawk and Moonlite Bay Resort on Lake Nokomis for much of their working lives. Lowell enjoyed spending time with his family at his home on Lake Nokomis. In 1989, Fern and Lowell sold the hardware business and spent their winters in Port Charlotte, but they continued to spend summers in Tomahawk and operate Moonlite Bay. His favorite time of year was Fall. He loved the weather and the colors. He will be dearly missed by his family.

Survivors include:
