Obituary for Gregory D. Galloy
Gregory D. Galloy, age 32, of Merrill, WI, (and formerly of Tomahawk) passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 30, 2018. Greg was born in Tomahawk, WI, on May 7, 1986, to David and Katherine (Nick) Galloy.
He graduated from Tomahawk High School in 2004 where he was a member of the hockey team. Greg attended the Fox Valley Technical College receiving his degree in Fire Science. He then attended the Mid-State Technical College obtaining his Critical Care Paramedic Certification. Greg served on the Tomahawk Fire Department for 18 years and was currently the City of Tomahawk Fire Inspector. He enjoyed hunting, fishing (especially fly fishing), and playing guitar. Above all, Greg loved spending time with the love of his life, Kaylyn, and his stepson and wrestling partner, Brantley.
Survivors include his Wife, Kaylyn Weber, and Stepson, Brantley Weber-King, of Merrill, WI;
His Parents, David and Kathy Galloy, of Tomahawk;
1 Brother, Jacob (Laura) Galloy, of Madison, WI;
1 Sister, Katie (Joseph Lerch) Galloy, of Woodruff, WI, and Nephew, Nikolas Lerch;
His Father and Mother-in-Law, Bruce and Julie Weber, of Merrill;
Paternal Grandparents, Tim and Kathy Galloy, of Tomahawk;
Maternal Step-Grandmother, Evelyn Nick, of Tomahawk.
Greg is further survived by many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Thomas Nick and Joan Nick.
Funeral Services for Gregory Galloy will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Generations Funeral Home, at 11:00 AM. Pastor Nate Nelson will officiate. The family will receive friends for Visitation on Friday, October 5, 2018, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Saturday, from 10:00 AM until the time of Services at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
